STAFF ATTACHED TO THE PRACTICE

DISTRICT NURSES Tel (01476) 567352
There is a district nursing team attached to the practice. They are primarily available to give nursing care to patients in their homes at the request of the doctors or the hospital. They are located at the Grantham Community Base, Tollemache Road South, Spittlegate Level, Grantham and may be contacted by telephoning (01476) 567352.

HEALTH VISITORS Tel (01476) 590805
The health visitors are qualified nurses with special training and experience in child health and health promotion. They offer advice and support with health, growth and development for pre-school children and their families. They are located at Grantham Health Clinic and may be contacted on (01476) 590805.

COMMUNITY MIDWIVES Tel (01476) 464334
The attached community midwives assist at antenatal clinics in the surgery, visit before and after the baby's birth and may be involved in the baby's delivery. They may be contacted between 9.00 and 10.00am at Grantham Hospital on 01476 565232.

COMMUNITY PSYCHIATRIC NURSES Tel (01476) 591233
These nurses, who are specifically trained in mental health, are based at Beaconfield Clinic. Telephone 01476 591233.

MACMILLAN NURSE Tel (01476) 590416 Option 6
The Macmillan nurses are trained experts in the care of the terminally ill. Please ask your doctor if you feel the Macmillan nurses may be able to help.

CHEMISTS (Open out of normal hours)
The chemist on duty is always listed in the current issue of the Grantham Journal.
