CONFIDENTIALITY

All members of our team have access to patient information and are bound by strict rules of confidentiality. We are a computerised practice and registered under the Data Protection Act 1998.

FREEDOM OF INFORMATION - PUBLICATION SCHEME

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 obliges the practice to produce a Publication Scheme. A Publication Scheme is a guide to the 'classes' of information the practice intends to routinely make available. Classes of information which are covered by the Data Protection Act will not be made available.

This scheme is available from reception.

ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

This practice operates a zero tolerance policy which means that anyone who is violent or abusive to any of our staff or doctors will be removed from our practice list. Extreme cases will result in the matter being reported to the police.
