You are required to request your
repeat prescriptions using the
counterfoil (right-hand portion) of
your previous prescription. Tick the
items you require and place the
counterfoil in the repeat
prescription box, located by the
front door in the entrance to the
surgery, or return it by post (if
you want the prescription posted to
you, you must enclose an SAE). From
time to time there may be a message
from the doctor to ask you to make
an appointment to see him or her
before another prescription can be
issued. Make an appointment before
you run out of medication.
In all cases you are strongly
advised to request all medication at
least two working days before you
will have used your last medication.
Your prescription will be ready
within two full working days, ie 48
hours. Please note this excludes
weekends and bank holidays. Local
chemists provide a prescription
collection service from the surgery
which can be arranged by completing
an authorisation form available from
reception.
